WRITING RESOURCES

w American Christian Fiction Writers has more to offer than I can begin to describe here. Open to both readers and writers of Christian fiction, their site is well worth a visit.

w There's a reason the Mount Hermon Christian Writers Conference has been going strong for 35 years. Held each spring during Palm Sunday weekend, this is one of the best writers conferences available.

w In addition to phenomenal fiction, James Scott Bell has written the best book on writing I have ever come across. If you want to learn how to craft a riveting story, you owe it to yourself to read his Plot & Structure.

THE OLD WEST LIVES!

Gunslingers, lawmen, prim and proper ladies--the relics of
a bygone era.

But wait. . .did that outlaw just step out of a late-model pickup? And are some of those delicate ladies packing pistols in
their reticules?

The Old West is still alive and well, at least in the hearts of those who participate in the exciting sport of Cowboy Action Shooting.  Click on the following links and take a step back in time.

w Cedar Ridge Saddlery - Outfitter for some of today's top fast-draw artists

w SASS - The Single Action Shooting Society, where Cowboy Action Shooting began

w Cowboy Fast Draw - Where gunslingers test their speed against one another, but nobody gets hurt

w Cowboy Mounted Shooting - Speed and accuracy from atop a galloping horse
